What are monthly contact lenses?

Monthly lenses are reusable lenses that are intended to be worn for 30 days from the date of opening. Monthly contact lenses are usually chosen as a permanent means of correcting vision, used daily or very often. It is recommended to wear them for a maximum of 12 hours a day. 

What to consider when choosing monthly lenses?

When choosing monthly contact lenses, keep in mind that they will need to be properly cared for and stored. If lenses are purchased for a child or young person, make sure that he or she is able to observe proper hygiene and lens care conditions. 

How to care for monthly contact lenses?

Monthly contact lens care is done with a special contact lens solution. After use, the lenses should be washed with this liquid to remove protein, lipids and other deposits.
The liquid is also used to store the lenses in a special container. Always wash your hands thoroughly before inserting the lenses and make sure that no detergent or swabs remain on your hands. 

What to consider when using monthly contact lenses?

When choosing monthly contact lenses for vision correction, it should be noted that under no circumstances should the 30-day lens use period be exceeded, as this may endanger eye health. Therefore, you must purchase a new pair of lenses in time to replace them or wear glasses after the lens expires.

Extended contact lenses or daily contact lenses are designed to be worn for up to 24 hours a day, 30 days and nights in a row. The convenience offered by these lenses is very tempting, but keep in mind that you must consult an ophthalmologist before using any contact lenses!
